The youngest builder brazing the new Leader frames is 38 years old with over ten years of experience. Profile No-Boss Cranks are now available for fixed gear bikes. These are intended for use with a spline drive sprocket or spider, as there is no way to attach a standard BMX chainring.

This is a complete crankset with English BB, Gun Drilled Hollow 5 1/4 CrMo BB spindle, Profile No Boss Race Crank arms, and the Profile crank installation and removal tool.

Included in the package is an assortment of spacers. Most bikes will not need all of them- you should use as few of them as you can get away with and still have decent clearance between the arms and your chainstays.

Also available with Outboard Bearing Bottom Bracket. The Outboard BB will be shipped with the 5.625" GDH Spindle. You should also purchase the BMX Outboard BB Spider, which will improve your chainline.

REASON FOR MAKING IT
I wanted an extra light sprocket that did not have to be babied. Capable of light street and skatepark trickery.

WHY IT WAS MADE THIS WAY
This design is actually a morph from the original Tree sprocket. We enlarged the holes and got rid of unneeded material, which gives it a very impressive strength to weight ratio. It is made of 5/16'' thick 7075 t6 aluminum.

TEETH
The sprocket accepts both 1/8 and 3/16 chains. Most sprockets are machined with thin and short teeth but the Tree sprocket teeth are machined to .13'' wide for maximum tooth strength and .27'' tall for a smoother running drive train. And they are the right height so they can not get hit during sprocket tricks. These teeth are very helpful when riding a loose chain because the taller teeth keep the chain from derailing. These teeth have been modeled after the tooth shape used for industrial machinery. In industrial situations this engineered tooth shape keeps machinery running quietly and smoothly at very high RPM's. For BMX it makes the smoothest running sprocket ever made.

The AVE (avenue) stem is unique, in that it is the ONLY stem to incorporate the 45 Degree upper headset compression ring to the body of the stem.
This unique feature makes for a super-flush fit between the stem and the frame, without lowering your bars any further than a traditional front load/drop stem.
This same compression feature makes for a more exact fit between the stem and frame. This application keeps your headset tighter and rolling smoother. Out are the small pieces like compression rings, dust caps and or spacers.
The AVE stem is the newest innovation in BMX Stems, period.

AVE Stem spec:
-T6 6061 extruded aluminum, CNC'd.
-6 over-sized, grade 8 steel bolts.
-53mm reach and 0 offset vertical.
-11oz. Sturdy, and very light weight considering the lack of compression ring, dust cap, and spacers.
