REASON FOR MAKING IT
  Tree originally only made some custom frames for themselves for fun. But other people wanted one so they decided to sell them. They called it lil' Buddy because your bike is like your little friend that is always ready for good times and adventures; it usually goes anywhere you go, whether it's down the street or across the country.

WHY IT WAS MADE THIS WAY
Although there is not too may things to do different on BMX frame these days tree thinks that they came up with a dialed geometry, nice looks and very high strength to weight ratio. The frame is post weld heat treated which makes the steel and welds of the entire frame homogenized. This means the frame acts as one piece of steel, rather than tubes welded to other tubes.
