Mechanic Information: Most freestyle and dirt jumping bikes have 990 mounts (studs welded to the chain or seat stays on the rear end of the frame)
V-Brake mounts are usually found on Racing style bikes. V-brake studs look similar, but require V-brakes and not 990 U brakes. You will need a good cable cutter to trim the extra length from the cable. We recommend the Part CN-10. It also crimps the nipple at the end on the cable and works for cutting other wires too.
