2011 GT Sanction 1.0 MTB

The Sanction is GT's answer to new-school rippers who still need gears for super-Ds, freeriders who pedal to play and even aggressive all-mountain types. With an optimized blend of DH and pedal-friendly geometries and 150mm of travel in the rear, the Sanction is fully capable of going up and down, as well as over and off pretty much anything. Fox's 160mm Float fork up front gives you long travel in a light, single-crown package. DT Swiss wheels follow that tough-yet-light theme, and Maxxis High Roller tires bite into any trail, from roots to mud to slickrock. The specs continue to blur the line: the bars are 725mm wide, yet made from carbon, you get a 2-ring set-up, yet have a chain guide and flat pedals, and you get a remote Joplin dropper post. This is the one bike to rule them all.
